Your wedding photos will be, too

I create wedding imagery that gives couples the best of both worlds: showstopping editorial portraiture blended with heartwarming candid snapshots. You’ll see your details preserved as the art they are, while being able to relive every moment - even the ones you may not have seen.

What I Do

A bride and groom embrace and smile at each other in front of a sunlit window, captured beautifully by Kansas City wedding photographers.

Your wedding photographer is not just another vendor. I am an integral part of my couple’s day, and my complimentary services prove that.

Engagement Session

Every booked wedding includes a complimentary engagement session. We’ll get to know one another and practice getting you comfortable in front of the camera before your big day.

Timeline Assistance

Your ideal day begins with an ideal timeline. I’ll share my eight years of wedding day experience and help you craft a stress-free wedding timeline.

Sneak Peeks

I’m not very patient either. You’ll get sneak peeks in 48 hours or less - for your engagement session and wedding day. Post away!

HELLO, I’M ERIN HASSETT

About your

photographer

I’m Erin, a wedding photographer in Kansas City, Missouri with eight years and near triple-digit’s worth of wedding day experience. I am a rare and highly sought after archetype in the wedding world — an introverted wedding photographer.

A woman with long, wavy blonde hair smiles at the camera, wearing a light-colored top and resting her hand on her neck in a softly lit, Humbly Hewn Photography setting.

If your ideal wedding photographer is someone who will text you multiple times a day pre-wedding and take a shot with you at your reception, that’s not me. But if you’re looking for a photographer who can melt into the background and sees all of the in-between moments you won’t — I’m your girl.

Your wedding day is not my art project. It is my job to guide you during portraits, beyond that I want your final album to feel like the day in its truest form. You deserve to be present with your partner and your people, not stuck in front of a camera playing model.

If you want

who treats your day

and people with respect,

we’re a good fit.
