I've been photographing weddings for almost a decade now. Close to a hundred wedding days under my belt, in every condition you can imagine: blazing July heat, surprise thunderstorms, candlelit ceremonies, you name it. That experience means I know how to handle whatever your day throws at us, and my images reflect that.
But here’s the thing: I price my work to be accessible without sacrificing quality.
My collections sit in the mid-range because I remember what it felt like to plan a wedding and watch the budget evaporate with every vendor email. You're getting seasoned expertise and a full day of coverage without the $7,000+ price tag that comes with a lot of established photographers. In an economy where everything costs more than it should, that matters.

I am a wedding vendor who's seen almost a hundred days unfold. That means I've got resources to share. You'll get access to my timeline templates, my full online wedding planning guide, and nearly ten years of tips and tricks that'll help you prepare for things you didn't even know to think about yet. Stuff like when to schedule hair and makeup so you're not rushing, how much buffer time you actually need between ceremony and reception, what to do if it rains. I can't run your day, but I can absolutely help you set it up for success.
1.) TIMELINE ASSISTANCE AND PLANNING RESOURCES
You won't be waiting months to see your photos. I deliver sneak peeks in 48 hours or less for every wedding and session—because I know you want to post something while people are still talking about your day. Full wedding galleries take 5-7 weeks, and session galleries are ready in 1-2 weeks. That's it. No radio silence for half a year, no wondering if I forgot about you. I edit fast because I've done this enough times to have it down to a system, and because making you wait longer than necessary just feels disrespectful of your time.
2.) sneak peeks and PIN-protected final galleries
I shoot documentary-style with a cinematic eye, which means I'm hunting for candids even during the routine moments. Getting ready, walking to the ceremony site, waiting for cocktail hour to start—that's where the real stuff happens. Lighting is my number one priority, and I'll make my own if I need to. Dim hotel room with one overhead light? I've got gear for that. When it comes to editing, I keep things true-to-life with just enough filmy warmth to give your photos that polished feel without looking overdone. No trendy filters, no orange skin tones—just clean, vibrant, accurate color. I also retouch every image in your final gallery to remove distractions like exit signs, air ducts, and random road signs in the background. The focus should be on you and your day, not the stuff cluttering up the frame.

Let's be real—most people don't have a few thousand dollars sitting around to drop all at once. I don't expect you to. I ask for 30% upfront as a nonrefundable retainer to secure your date, and the remaining balance is due on or before your wedding day. How you pay that balance is entirely up to you. You can chip away at it in whatever increments work for your budget, whenever works for you. Or if you'd rather have structure, I can set up a percentage-based payment plan with specific due dates to keep you on track. Either way, we'll figure out what makes sense for your situation. No judgment, no pressure—just flexibility that actually helps.

Of course! Once you’re booked, your date is in my calendar for good. If you decide you’d like to add additional coverage to your date, my hourly rate is $500/hr.

More than likely! At this point I have photographed scores of weddings in many of the premium downtown Kansas City wedding venues, as well as event spaces across the KC metro. If I somehow haven’t shot at your venue just yet, no worries! So much of your wedding day is going to depend on weather, lighting at certain times of day and even how the foliage in each season changes. The thing that’s most important is your photographer knowing how to adapt to each scenario, and lucky for you: I’ve seen it all!
